An expense or a vendor deal usually has a real document behind it — a receipt, a signed agreement — that doesn't belong in an invoice or a note field. Dobydil Files gives you private storage for exactly that: upload a file, and it's kept in a folder only your business can reach, downloadable only through a link that expires in 60 seconds, with no public URL to it ever existing.
Receipts, signed contracts, reference documents — whatever paperwork sits behind your numbers.
Unlike a logo or storefront image, files here have no public link at all — access is exclusively through a signed URL you generate on demand.
Every download link is generated fresh and expires almost immediately, so an old link sitting in a chat history or browser history can't be reused.
Removing a file deletes both its record and the underlying stored object — nothing lingers.
Files here is private storage for your own business records, not a customer-facing sharing tool — for sending something to a customer, attach it directly or use email.
Individual files are capped at 25MB; there's no cap on the number of files.
Files storage is currently scoped to the account that uploaded it, not shared business-wide the way invoices or deals are.
